Before you print a QR code

A short scan test can prevent a frustrating experience for your customers.

Choose a useful destination

Link directly to the page your customer needs, such as a menu or contact page. Avoid making people search through unrelated content after scanning.

Keep the code readable

Use strong contrast and leave clear space around the code. Test the actual printed size with more than one phone before printing a large batch.

Check the destination too

The linked page should work on mobile and remain available. If its address changes, a static QR code pointing to the old address will not update automatically.
